An information check, not a prediction
The ten questions are an editorial checklist. They do not use insurer data, an actuarial model, credit information, an address lookup or a property inspection. The check cannot calculate premium, loss probability, safety, eligibility or coverage.
Four transparent labels
| Label | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Time-sensitive | You reported a coverage deadline or unresolved damage that deserves prompt attention. |
| Follow up | You reported a topic that would benefit from a review or planning step. |
| Information gap | You said information was missing or uncertain. This is not a high-risk label. |
| Information in hand | You reported having the information or plan asked about. It has not been independently verified. |
How actions are ordered
Actions follow three tiers: time-sensitive items first, reported review or planning needs second, missing information third. Within a tier, the tool preserves question order; it does not rank hazards against one another. All suggested actions are shown—none are discarded because they appeared late in the questionnaire.
The three summary counts describe your answers: time-sensitive items, follow-up items (including missing information), and information in hand. They are not a risk score or a percentage of your home’s safety.
Why no roof-age pass/fail?
A single age threshold cannot stand in for every material, condition, insurer or state. The check asks whether you have records and condition information instead of declaring that a roof passes underwriting.
Limits and corrections
A reassuring result cannot establish that the home is safe or insured. An incomplete result cannot establish that the home is unsafe or uninsurable. Read your actual policy and ask a qualified professional about the specific issue. Send concerns about the tool to info@predictmyrisk.com.
